Frequenly Asked Questions¶
Client gave me her incorrect email address after DocuSign already emailed the application (or other incorrect data). Is there an easy fix?¶
Click the "Correct" button on the envelope and change the address, then re-send.
Can I Re-Use An Already-Completed Envelope?¶
Yes! Sometimes you'll want to re-use an envelope that has already been completed. For example, maybe you completed an Traditional IRA for a client and now you want to do a Roth IRA. All of the information is the same, except the check-boxes for Traditional/Roth and the amount. Or, maybe your doing UTMAs for three children with the same custodian. Again, the only information that is different among the three apps is the child's name, DOB and SSN, and possibly the investment amount.
Note: only use this feature if you are changing a small amount of data. If the changes are numerous you risk forgetting to change something from the original that should have been changed.
First you need to enable this feaure by going into Docusign / Settings / Sender Settings / Enable envelope copy with field data and checking the box.
Find the original envelope and in the dropdown select Copy with Field Data. This will create a new envelope with the original data retained. Make your edits and send.
