A Month Can Get Away From You

A monthy is much too long for most self-employed people to judge their business. Commonly, people evaluate their business monthly, but here's what happens: At the beginning of the month your feel you have all the time in world. Then, near the end of the month you realize you're way behind your goal, and the temptation is to just "give-up" and "wait" until the beginning of the next month - but now you've wasted the remaining days.


Art Williams' Secret

Art Williams used a very simple strategy to build one of the largest life insurance agency. Every week he would set a prospecting / appointment / closes target for himself. If he reached those targets by Friday night he would take-off the weekend and spend it with his family. If he didn't he would work Saturday and Sunday. He was accountable only to himself and his family. He, and his family, were very motivated to ensure that he reached his weekly activity goals.


Review, Renew, Re-Set, Re-Charge

Review how you performed the previous week in the following areas and, if needed, re-set and attack again.

  4. Client service and follow-up
