Niche Marketing Tips¶
- Your first, and best, "niche" market is your family and friends. What is they one thing all your family, friends and acquantences have in common? They knou you.
- If you also work a "regular" job, become an expert in your company's retirement plan. You can be the "go-to person" that those who are retiring soon will go to for advice and rollovers. Help existing employees understand the plan and help them select the best funds.
- Always keep your eyes open for a specialized market that you can become an expert in. Specific company types, specific product types, a demographic, clubs, groups, organziations etc. Examples:
- doctor's offices, goverment retirement plans, charity organizations, elder market, kids market (UTMAs, 529-Plans, Minor Roths) etc.
