What We Expect From You (17 "Secrets")


In order to be a successful Advisor you must follow the $50k-Income Game-Plan. If you are not willing to do this, don’t bother.

  1. Make 1 - 4 prospecting attempts per day. Pro-tip: master the Coffee Script.

  2. Conduct 2 - 4 client appointments per week, 50 weeks per year. Pro-tip: Have your calendar booking system filled up at least one week in advance.

  3. Generate $2,500 in total revenue per week. Pro-tip: do the Bread-and-Butter Fundamentals.

  4. Get 1 - 2 quality introductions/referrals from each client (ask for four).

  5. Get to 50-50-50 ASAP (50 securities cases, $50k income, $50k ARR).

  6. Utilize the AdvisorFirst Wiki often. This is your first stop for knowledge.

  7. Complete the AF Self-Study Curriculum

  8. Preach and teach the investment philosophies of Nick Murray. By promoting a respected "higher authority" it will make building your practice easier as Nick is stating the same things you are. (You can't be a profit in your own land.)

  9. Build a Deep Understanding of American Funds and Jackson variable annuities.

  10. Have prompt, two-way communication with your clients, downlines and uplines. Make sure to install Telegram on your phones, tablets, computers and turn on notifications.

  11. Read the daily trainings posted in the AF Dailies Telegram chatroom. Check it daily.

  12. Participate in the AFG Mastermind Telegram chatroom. Check it daily.

  13. Watch the Monday Kickoff Meeting. Pro-tip: participate "live".

  14. Read the weekly AF Training Email Newsletter.

  15. Read the monthly Nick Murray Interactive Advisor Newsletters. This is the best training for professional Advisors. Read it, absorb it, and make notes for yourself. Pay special attention to the counter-cultural investment principles, phraseology, aphorisms, and turns-of-phrase.

  16. Have superbe client follow-up.

  17. Complete at least one book from our Top Books List every month.
